Labyrinths
Each labyrinth is drawn by hand and grows organically. No pre-determined shape is made, they simply form in the process. There is only one way in and one way out. In this way, the labyrinth is an analogy for an organism; a single life with one beginning and one end. Sometimes there can be more than one maze in a picture and they can interact with each other. But generally, each is a singular entity and each is a meditation on linear thought. The maze is an open structure, so although there is one start and one finish, within the labyrinth there are many possible paths.
